Everywhere I go I see cell phones. Drivers tool down the road, cutting their turns while they are blabbing away on their cell phones. People yakkin’ in the produce aisle of Wal-Mart and Blue-Tooth headsets everywhere.
I have a cell phone but I usually just leave it in my car and I rarely talk on it while I’m driving. For one thing, I drive a five-speed stick (it’s a guy thing) and it’s hard to shift gears and rachet-jaw on the phone at the same time.
Are you one of the people I see everywhere, cell phone glued to your ear and yak-yakkin away?
Admit it if you are. It may not be too late to find you a support group.

My mom’s got this paranoid idea that I’ll get a tumor using my cell phone. thousands of people use cellphones 24/7 and I haven’t heard no tumor coming from it. I’m talking about using the phone directly; not a headset or a bluetooth ear piece.
so is this true?

So starting July 1st, 2008, handheld cell phone use will be against the law while driving in California and drivers must use a headset (drivers 18 are not allowed to use headset/handsfree device). The fine for the first offense is $20, and every subsequent offense is $50. The offenses will NOT have points against your record.
So to me this sounds like another plan to milk money from drivers. People like me will probably ignore the ban and just pay up the $20 or so if we get caught.
If it wasn’t for the money, the law would have had a large fine like $150+ where people would actually obey the law and not risk getting caught. By placing such a low fine, they KNOW that people would risk getting caught and thus this in my opinion proves that this law is about money and NOT safety.
What do you think?

The Motorola Razr v3 does not support it. So I was wondering if the latest and greatest does.

I’m looking into purchasing a bluetooth headset for my nokia cell phone (nokia 6555). What do you believe is the best headset preferably under $100? I’m looking for one with comfort and a longer lasting battery life. Please only leave opinions if you’ve had experience with it. Thanks!

I already had a Motorola Razr V3 and a friend gave me a Bluetooth headset that she had been using with her T-Mobile Motorola V3 Razr. So I know this bluetooth can communicate with my Razr, I just don’t know how to do it.

I found this FAQ about a new california cell phone law at http://www.Olltell.com
