Motorists to exercise highest degree of care–violation, penalty.
“Section 304.012. 1. Every person operating a motor vehicle on the roads and highways of this state shall drive the vehicle in a careful and prudent manner and at a rate of speed so as not to endanger the property of another or the life or limb of any person and shall exercise the highest degree of care.”

No, it shouldn’t. What about eating or tuning the radio? Or any of a million other things people do in the car that distracts them?
Bottom line, if you have an accident because you’re distracted, that’s the problem, not the distraction.

I believe it would be next year!! :(

It is in the works in Congress right now.
In the meantime, you can do what I do – buy your cellphone unlocked from the net or eBay, and get your service from T-Mobile with no contract.
The “contract” is the cost of the cellphone you get for “free”. Buying the phone and owning it yourself frees you from having that obligation with the carrier. But cellphones are not necessarily cheap.
But once you get used to buying your own cellphone, the freedom is enormous.

If we ever have to go to court, I would like the judge to hear the trash my granddaughter has to put up with. I don’t want to spend alot of money. Thanks

It’s against the law here in Tennessee but when you see the police, judges and county officials doing it, you think where is the judgment it’s CRAP! The police and other officials can get away with it why not the people, I seen a woman that pulled over to answer her phone a cop pulled in behind her and gave her a ticket for using the phone while pulled over. Now tell me that isn’t some b.s.

ok so my brother in law gave my husbands cell phone number away to another girl that supposedly likes my husband.
and from what I hear from my husband is that she gave him a call and from there he saved her phone number, and they talk from time to time.
should I say something to any of these 3 or should I just let it go?
after all I know some of you may say she might as well just be one of his friends.
any ideas would help.

Cell Phone Laws In Pa?

Is there a law in Pennsylvania that states that personal employee cell phones are prohibited inside correctional facilities? I have yet to find a law stating this anywhere, any help would be greatly appreciated.
